Introduction of the life of Maharana Pratap

Maharana Pratap Singh was born (Jyeshtha Shukla Tritiya Sunday Vikram Samvat 15 9 according to 9th May 1540-19 January 1597) and was king of the Shishodia dynasty in Udaipur, Mewar. His name is immortal in the history of heroism and determination. He struggled with Mughal Emperor Akbar for many years. Maharana Pratap Singh defeated the Mughals several times in the war.


They have Born In Rajasthan Kumbalgadh at home father maharana Udhay Singh and their mother Jaivantabai Kanwar. Rana Pratap, along with 20,000 Rajputs in the Battle of Haldighati in 1576, faced the 80,000 armies of Mughal Sardar King Mansingh. Maharana Pratap was surrounded by the enemy army and saved him by giving life and giving Maharana to leave the war land. Shakti Singh rescues Maharana by giving his assault. Dear Ashu Chetak also died. This war lasted only a day, but it killed 17,000 people. To win Mewar, Akbar made all efforts to win. Maharana's condition worried me day by day. Bhama Shah also became immortal by granting 25,000 Rajputs 12 years of grants.

Early life:

Maharana Pratap was born in Kumbhalgarh fort. Maharana Pratap's mother's name was Jaivantabai, daughter of Soni Gara Pachir of Pali. Maharana Pratap was called in the name of Kika in childhood. Maharana Pratap's coronation happened in Gogunda. Since childhood, Maharana Pratap was a brave, brave, self-respecting and freedom fighter. As soon as he sat on the throne of Mewar in 1572, he faced unprecedented peace, but he faced every tragedy with patience and courage. His battle on the turf of the Mughal army was a heavy battle.
The power that they have shown, is unique in Indian history, they have protected the dignity of their ancestors and have done it as long as their state is not liberated, the state will not enjoy pleasure. Since then, he started sleeping on the ground and wandering in the forests of Aravali while wandering, but he did not accept the subordination of the Mughal emperor. He sacrificed his life to protect his homeland.
Maharana Pratap was trained to run a shield sword in his childhood as his father wanted him to be a skilled warrior himself. Child Pratap gave an introduction to his indomitable courage at an early age. When he came out to play with the kids, he would have formed the party in the matter. Along with all the children of the party, they used to practice the shield sword so that they were trained in running the weapon. Time passed slowly. Days were changed in the months and months in the year. In the meantime, Pratap became master of the armed force, and seeing his confidence, Uday Singh did not experience flowers.
Maharana Pratap decided to make his half-brother Jagamal as the king according to his father's last wish, but Mewar's confidante Chundawat Rajputs assumed Jagjit's throne to be disastrous and forced Jagmal to leave the throne. Jagamal was not desirous of leaving the throne but he went to Ajmer to take revenge and joined Akbar's army and instead he got the jagir of Shippur. During this period Prince Pratap got the title of Maharana as the 54th governor of Mewar. In the case of Maharana Pratap, Akbar was the ruler of Delhi and Akbar had to use the power of Hindu Rao to take control of another Hindu king. When Prince Pratap was succeeded in 1567, he was only 27 years old and the Mughal army surrounded the Chittod with four others.
Maharana Pratap, who presented bravery, is unique. The circumstances under which they fought were really complex, but they did not give up. If Rajputs could get a respectable place in Indian history, its credit goes mainly to Rana Pratap.
He neither allowed his motherland to be swayed nor tarnished. He forced the huge Mughal forces to chew iron grams. The Mughal Emperor Akbar wanted to win his kingdom and join his empire, but Rana Pratap did not let it happen and fought for a lifetime.
Apart from Queen Jayawanta, Rana Udai Singh had other wives, including the beloved wife of Rani Dheer Bai Uday Singh.
Rani Dheer Bai's intention was that his son Jagmal became the successor of Rana Udai Singh. Besides, Rana Udai Singh also had two sons Shakti Singh and Sagar Singh.
They also had the intention of holding the throne after Rana Udai Singh but both Praja and Rana ji considered Pratap as their successor. For this reason, these three brothers used to hate Pratap.
Maharana Pratap was about seven and a half feet tall and weighed 110 kilograms. The weight of his protective armor was 72 kilograms and the spear weighed 80 kg. Combining armor, spear, shield, and sword, etc. he used to fight more than 200 kg in battle. Even today, Maharana Pratap's armor, sword Etc. items are kept in the museum of Udaipur Rajasthan.

Battle of Haldighati:

This war took place on 18 June 1576 for about 4 hours, in which there was waging war between Mewar and the Mughals. Maharana Pratap's army was led by the only Muslim Sardar Hakim Khan Suri and the leadership of the Mughal army was done by Mansingh and Asaf Khan. A total of 20000 Maharana Pratap's Rajputs fought in this war with Akbar's total 80000 Mughal armies, which is a unique thing. Even after facing many difficulties/troubles, Maharana Pratap did not give up and showed his fortune. That is why today his name is shining on the pages of history. Some historians believe that there was no victory in the battle of Haldighati, but if you see, Maharana Pratap's victory has taken place. With his hard work and determination, without considering his small army as small, Maharana Pratap's army hankered the sixes of Akbar's vast army and forced them to retreat.

Horse Chetak:


Along with the bravery of Maharana Pratap, the valor of his horse Chetak is also world famous. Chetak was a very wise and brave horse, who had kept his life at stake and protected Maharana Pratap by jumping from 26 feet deep. There is a temple of Chetak today in Haldighati.
Many of the families of Rajasthan had succumbed to Akbar's power, but Maharana Pratap continued to struggle to maintain his lineage and did not surrender before Akbar. The jungle-jungle ran away in the trunk-root and grass-roti Keeping the wife and the child in difficult situations with her passing, she never lost patience. Due to lack of money, Danvir Bhamashah dedicated his entire treasure to revive the morale of the army. Even then, Maharana Pratap said that apart from the military requirements, I do not even want a penny of your treasure. According to Akbar: - Maharana Pratap had limited resources, but still, he did not bend, not scared.
Maharana Pratap's time after Haldighati's war was spent in mountains and forests. Through his mountain war policy, he defeated Akbar several times. While living in the forests and mountains, Maharana Pratap faced many kinds of tribulations, but he did not leave his ideals. Maharana Pratap's strong Era has foiled all efforts of Akbar's generals. The effect of their patience and courage was that despite their constant efforts over 30 years, Akbar could not make Pratap as a prisoner. Maharana Pratap's most beloved horse was 'Chetak' who had supported his master till his last breath.

Maharana Pratap Death:

After all, due to the injuries sustained during the hunting, Maharana Pratap got the heaven on 19 January 1597 at Chavand.
