MAHARANA UDAI SINGH HISTORY

Maharana Uday Singh was born on August 4, 1522 AD. This was the 11th Maharana of Mewar. His father was Maharana SANGA (Sangram Singh) and mother was Karnavati. They had seven ranes. He had 24 sons The eldest son is Pratap Singh. Which later became known as Maharana Pratap.

In the childhood of Maharana Uday Singh

Maharana Uday Singh's childhood was a major threat to his life. The curse of Mewad, called Banbir, tried to kill them but he failed. He wanted to kill Uday Singh and establish his right over Mewar. But he could not do that. Penance protects them. When Uday Singh was sleeping in his bedroom, Banbir tried to kill him, but when Pannadhai realized this, he gave up his son Chandan in place of Uday Singh.

From where Binbir understood him Uday Singh and Bunbir killed Chandan while sleeping after understanding Uday Singh. And thus, Pannadhai took Uday Singh out of there and took him to a safe place. Which saved his life. The sacrifice of penance is incomparable, he sacrificed his son to save the Uttarradhikari of Mewar state and protect Mewar. When the Rajput warlords of Mewar came to know of this, they removed banbir from the throne.

After this, Maharana Uday Singh became Rana of Mewar in 1537 AD. As soon as the Maharana was formed, Akbar started attacking Chittod. Thousands of Mewari were killed when they thought that Mewar would no longer be able to survive, then he handed Jaimal and patta to Mewar in his hands and went to the forestl of Aravali. He built Udayasagar there. And made its new capital Udaipur.

Maharana Uday Singh died in 1572 AD.

For some reason, his son, the son of the little queen sat on the throne, but she was an inept ruler, because of which the people opposed it and all the warlords removed her from the throne. After this Maharana Pratap Singh sat on the throne. The wave of happiness spread in the state as his Maharana became. In his regime, the people lived peacefully and with ease.

After Maharana Uday Singh, Maharana Pratap faced Akbar's conflicts and attacks. His victory did not accept Akbar's submission.
